Parkhead Primary Association
The Parkhead Primary Association consists of parents, carers and teachers who meet on a regular basis to discuss ways to raise much needed funds for the school
What Do We Do?
The Parkhead Primary Association (PPA) arranges social, family orientated events to bring together parents and carers, pupils, teachers and the local community to raise funds for the school. Regular events include a Halloween disco (for Primary 1s - Primary 4s), Valentine's Disco (for Primary 5s - Primary 7s), and the Easter Fair. The Easter Fayre is our main fundraiser of the year. If that wasn't enough, we also help out with a variety of school events throughout the year as and when required.
Money raised by the PPA goes directly back to the school and pupils and we have contributed towards a variety of projects and events throughout the school. All this greatly enhances the children's experience at school.
When And Where Do We Meet?
We meet nine times a year, on the last Monday of every month at 7pm in the school. Dates are also listed on the Events Calendar.
If I Want To Help What Do I Do?
We are always looking for volunteers and committee members, so if you would like to join the PPA, or just want to find out a little bit more, then have a look at our PPA Facebook Page (opens new window). Alternatively you can contact us via the main school office.
