Outdoor Learning At Parkhead Primary School

This year, we're excited to announce that our whole school is embracing the great outdoors! We believe in the power of outdoor learning and are committed to giving our pupils the opportunity to learn and explore beyond the classroom walls.

Throughout the year, teachers will be taking their classes outside to make learning a more hands-on and engaging experience. From counting leaves in maths to writing stories inspired by nature, our pupils will be connecting with their curriculum in new and exciting ways.

Additionally, our Primary 6 and 7 classes will be participating in special sessions with Kids go Wild, an amazing program designed to build confidence, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world. More information about these sessions will be sent home to parents shortly.

To help our teachers ensure that all pupils can engage in outdoor learning please make sure that your child has an outdoor jacket with them and sensible shoes.

We can't wait to see all the learning and fun that will happen this year as we explore the world right outside our doors! Please pop back to this page regularly, as we'll be sharing photos of all our outdoor adventures
